An insight to today's Iran, through a very simple device: following a group of firemen in Tehran. We shall see the country in its critical moments, when tongues untie, when gestures are more spontaneous,
and doors open more easily. But also when there is no fire.
The film shows the "Men of fire" on their busy days, as well as on their time off, to show them also in their everyday life. The story begins on Charshanbesouri (Feast of Fire in Iran), the busiest day for the firemen,
We will continue to follow them throughout a year, showing them in different types of accidents, but also unfolding their social life
as a little community, in the fire station.
