An old photo in hand, Maryam sets off to look for her father and arrives in Tehran, a megapole which she hardly knows. Her quest, pretty desperate in the begining, takes more sense as she moves on, meeting poeple who all seem to know something about her father. Each one adds a piece to the puzzle which Maryam is trying to reconstruct. As the film goes by, a portrait of the urban Tehran begins to emerge through Maryam’s quest.
