What I am trying to show here, through a mixture of the past and the present, is the territory at the border of two lands where an exile’s home stands. The film is a survey on the identity in exile, through the testimony of Iranian exiles. It is, in a way, the story of all those who have tried one day to build a house, after the memory of another house, which they have left behind in their homeland.
